A quick note here to let you guys know that the forum has (finally) been updated to the latest version of phpBB.

If you find any errors or mistakes, please let me know, so I can fix it ASAP.

Hi there, as I'm sure you all have seen we have quite a bit of modifications here on NoeZZel, I'll list some here.
Also, whenever there's a new modification installed, this will be the topic where you hear
about it, and we'll also announce any future mods that are already being programmed
or you could post requests for future modifications you would like to see!

• The Separate Login and User Name - By having a separate login and user name, we have a second layer of security,
  as the ONLY ones who can see the login name is YOU and administrators. I've personally modified in such a way that the
  login and user name are not allowed to be the same, so if any person tries to "hack" your account,
  all they can see of your account is your user name and would then have an invalid login name.
  [this particular mod will also be very useful for future mods we have planned ^^ ]
• Profile privacy - By going to the User Control Panel -> Board Preferences (http://www.noezzel.com/ucp.php?i=174) you can change the privacy of your profile!
  (Open for everyone, open only for friends, or just block your foes)
• Simple Profile Comments - People can leave comments on your profile!
• Ultimate Points - Our "cash" modification, more info about it is in another topic (http://www.noezzel.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=9)
  Right now you cannot use the points for anything YET, but you will be able to use them soon for the Arcade
  and there will be more Add-ons for the "cash" mod over time (banking system, lottery, and more)
• Prime Birthday - Birth dates are required at registration and are then locked.
  We may have some features in the future that will require a certain age.
  Note: You can hide your age/birthday, eg for privacy.
• phpBB Arcade - A big, big Arcade Hall! But on the forum! It'll be online again soon!
• Custom Post Color - Set a standard post color in your profile! No more forgetting your [color][/color] tags
  or simply don't need to type them in every time again and again, you will still be able to use
  the [color][/color] tags for accents, etc.

These are all the mods currently installed, there are some more as well, but those are only viewable and/or usable by mods and admins

Modifications in progress:

• Anti Double-Post - Forbids users to post after their self in a certain time period, (use the edit button instead,
  if you need to add something to your previous post, that's what it's for )
• Profile Friend List - Adds the users friend list to their viewable profile (will be hidden if set by the profile privacy)

As of right now Loginnames and Usernames can NOT be the same anymore.
This is a security measure taken for future plans.

We hope everyone will update their username soon, otherwise it will be changed by an admin
